Feelin' the Love?

I'm so,
Crazy and alone
I've been falling for days
And at the sight of that face...
I get
Weak and nervous
All at once
Because I know this summer love
Belongs to the month
More than me

I want to hold your hand
Just for the way it would feel
I wanna hold your hand
Just for the way it would make this seem real

If I wrote about being in love with a girl
Most people would think that I'm gay
But if I wrote about being in love with you
Most people would feel the same way.

When the night's creatures have fell into ease
The sound of the forest's a delicate lull
Word is spreading like new found disease
And the hospitals are all full
And watching you sleeping is just like the seas
Toss and turn, push and pull
So I'm asking you, Darling, please
Be reasonable.

-----

Some loverly poems about love and summer, and occasionally summer love. Some of them may be elaborated later. And now, the final poem, which I hope you all enjoy.

He loves me,
He loves me not.
He better love me,
Or he'll get shot.

*Cue Suspenseful Music*

I hope the suspense is killing you, Baby.

Because it's sure killing me
To see you walk into this party
All alone
But never fear
Because, come next year
I'll go off to school without you
Forgetting you, forgetting home
And I'll never have to look back on
The pain and suffering
Never have to think about the fact that the whole time,
To you I didn't mean a thing

And I wish I could say the same
That you didn't matter at all to me
But I've still got this crazy hope
That we could be,
Baby,
Next time you say the suspense is killing you
Try to mean it literally

And I'm not saying
That I'm bitter, or upset
My mouth is shut,
But by my glares I am implying it
I think I deserve some severance,
A pay back for all your lies
Don't worry though,
I'm not holding my breath waiting for you to apologize...

And I wish I could say the same
That you didn't matter at all to me
But I've still got this crazy hope
That we could be,
Baby,
Next time you say the suspense is killing you
Try to mean it literally

And I'm so sick of being known
As your old property
And I'm too tired to care
About what you meant to me
We're so over
As everyone can see
So now I'm going to leave
Now we'll both be happy

And I wish I could say the same
That you didn't matter at all to me
But I've still got this crazy hope
That we could be,
Baby,
Next time you say the suspense is killing you
Try to mean it literally

Try to mean it literally.

Traffic Surfing

What am I waiting for?

This is what I ask myself daily

And half-heartedly I try to respond

Yeah, this is why all my luck is failing

And I am shedding all of the ideals that I've donned

My feet are to the grass

Like the sun in the sky

I just go around and around

Never think to ask why

And if the sun asked why

Well we'd all die

And you're tempting me

To come walk into traffic

You're tempting me

To go out of my comfort zone

You're tempting me

To trust where I'm going

You're telling me

The road I'm on is home

And these gold and silver days

Have fallen pray to pain

And the hardest questions

Are the ones I'm asking myself

And the sun fell down in rays

But today it's not the same

Because for the first time

I took my memories off the shelf

And you're tempting me

To come walk into traffic

You're tempting me

To go out of my comfort zone

You're tempting me

To trust where I'm going

You're telling me

The road I'm on is home

Then I am a child again

And I'm falling into a brand new day

I can really act wild again

And you're slowly walking away...

And you're tempting me

To come walk into traffic

You're tempting me

To go out of my comfort zone

You're tempting me

To trust where I'm going

You're telling me

The road I'm on is home

And you're no longer my crutch

And I'm no longer waiting

You suspected as much

And the screen is fading...

And you're tempting me

To come walk into traffic

You're tempting me

To go out of my comfort zone

You're tempting me

To trust where I'm going

You're telling me

The road I'm on is home

The road I'm on is home

Just Remember to Take Deep Breaths

I'm taking deep breathes

Keeping my temper in check

Going backwords from ten

Starting over again

Cause my fists are still clenched

Tightly here on the dining table

And you don't even notice

I'm biting my tongue

It's over, it's done

The war has been won

Via out of court lawyers

They're just out of court liars

I could slit my wrists

To the sound of all your complaints

"You're a fake, You're a fake"

I could just sit

And glare at you all

I'm not a puppet or doll

And I'm tired.

Tap tap goes my knuckle on your door frame

You don't want to talk to me and I don't want to play your game

Shut up and go away

That's all I have to say

I'm biting my tongue

It's over, it's done

The war has been won

Via out of court lawyers

They're just out of court liars

I could slit my wrists

To the sound of all your complaints

"You're a fake, You're a fake"

I could just sit

And glare at you all

I'm not a puppet or doll

And I'm tired.

I'm dying Baby, absolutely dying

Forget about crying Baby; I wasted my life crying

I'm not patient enough any more

To waste my time trying

On some impossible cause

(We all know that I'm lying)

I'm biting my tongue

It's over, it's done

The war has been won

Via out of court lawyers

They're just out of court liars

I could slit my wrists

To the sound of all your complaints

"You're a fake, You're a fake"

I could just sit

And glare at you all

I'm not a puppet or doll

And I'm tired.

Your sitting there,

Oblivious

To me clenching my teeth

And flinching when you make a joke

And inside I'm begging you to stay silent

Because my heart can't take

Me holding this in for much longer

I'm putting a new address

On this old loneliness

No longer keeping it inside

I will never have to hide

The times I've lied

Or my own pride

Now that I've died

I can reside

Away from the sighes you've sighed

And closer and closer to me stiching your mouth shut.

To My Least Dearest Christopher...

Bruises cover

Your face and your arms

You were living off ink and

Lucky charms

Empty bottle of ADs

Lying on your nightstand

They never worked, just made you feel like

Dying again

The blood in your veins

Pounds as the noose cuts off

Your circulation

Now would be a good place

And time to have

A revelation

Then the rope snaps

And the room spins into hectic pitch black

Your best friends runs in

And begs you,

Please come back

Oh, will you please come back

Thrashing in your sleep

Even you realize that

You are in way too deep

It's a losing battle and,

You just need to calm right down

Don't fight the light

Just fight the darkness

And soon the rest will come around

A loaded gun

Painful in every retrospect

Tonight's been fun

For everyone else

Hey are you done?

The bar is, shutting down

Yeah you're done

With this

Blackhole of a town

The sound system here is rad

Or so every tells you

ID checks are bad

Sounds like your kind of place

You're getting mad

At the lights that are blinking

Cause  they've got you thinking

Of your time spent in the

Black

Black...

Thrashing in your sleep

Even you realize that

You are in way too deep

It's a losing battle and,

You just need to calm right down

Don't fight the light

Just fight the darkness

And soon the rest will come around

Peddle to the floor

Of your car

It's very nearly midnight

And you're wishing on a star

Pay no attention to the lights

Flashing green, red, and gold

These are your last nights

Or so you've been told

Told

Told

Your apartments empty

Which makes sense 'cause no one's living with you

Moon light pulsing through your artery's

What's a poor kid to do?

It's 11:11

And all you wish is to get to know you

They find you passed out

Under the covers

And there's every name

Of your ex-friends and ex-lovers

This is getting old

They all say it but don't help anything

Any

Thing...

Thrashing in your sleep

Even you realize that

You are in way too deep

It's a losing battle and,

You just need to calm right down

Don't fight the light

Just fight the darkness

And soon the rest will come around

Hear there voices

Know your choices

Nobody

Can stop you now ('Cause you're too far gone)

Trust this douvet

Where you'll

Always stay

Not to give you away (Until the tiresome dawn)

Dawn

Thrashing in your sleep

Even you realize that

You are in way too deep

It's a losing battle and,

You just need to calm right down

Don't fight the light

Just fight the darkness

And soon the rest will come around

And God knows they'll come around

Think of all the liquor you have downed

Up on the stage

In a rage

You know your homebound

Fly to the floor

And ask for more

And getting it the form

Of going black

Of never coming back

Never coming back

Never coming back

NEVER COMING BACK

Silly Colour Song

Red.
Red is the colour of the blood beating through my heart right now
But Babe, you don't carry anyhow
Cause Red is also
The colour of love
Like the kind you have for her
She's like some sort mind reader
Keeping you amazed

Orange.
Nothing rhymes with orange.
Such a fickle word
Like those that I have heard
Up from my bedroom floor

Gold.
Cause it's classier than just plain
Yellow.
But the truth still remains
It's exactly the same
As her perfect summer hair

Green.
With envy at your new love,
Because my tongue's tied in a knot
Why did she have to be so hot?
Just Kiddin!
(No I'm Not)

Blue.
How I feel when she's with you.
I'm sad and sobbin'
Your hearts black as a robin
But what am I gonna do?

Purple.
Like a haze watching over me
Cause now I'm finally startin' to see
That the boy sittin' next to me
In underclassmen trigonometery
Is
Gorgeous

Done.
My rainbow relationship
Is over, Enjoy your girl, because her brother is too!
One.
I find another to be with
Because I know I ain't wastin' my time on you.

At the end of every rainbow is a pot of gold.

So, this is a silly song I wrote, just messing around. It's not serious at all, just rhyming about colours. XD

Virginia was so beautiful
With her mane of long read hair
Her blue eyes looking up above
Her voice bouncing through the air
The summer sun entangled
Cascading down on you and her
Who could have predicted
What was to occur?

It was a summer of true love
It was a summer of pain,
It was a summer of sunshine,
It was a summer of rain.
It was a summer that we'll never forget
No matter how hard we try.
It was a summer I'll cherish
Until the day I die

Virginia was so courteous
To all the people that she met
The way she smiled at everyone
Oh, I never will forget
The way that she was colour-blind
And an amazing friend
The way that she, so tragically,
Met an early end.

It was a summer of true love
It was a summer of pain,
It was a summer of sunshine,
It was a summer of rain.
It was a summer that we'll never forget
No matter how hard we try.
It was a summer I'll cherish
Until the day I die

And in the endless summer
In which she now resides
Yes, in this endless summer
Made by you and her and I
And maybe in this paradise,
We'll stay together for eternity

And in this endless rainstorm
In our black funeral clothes
The storm is passing over
As an easterly wind blows
And maybe when I sob next to you,
Virginia will look down and see

It was a summer of true love
It was a summer of pain,
It was a summer of sunshine,
It was a summer of rain.
It was a summer that we'll never forget
No matter how hard we try.
It was a summer I'll cherish
Until the day I die

No, we will never forget her
She'll always be ours
As the summer lilies,
And the golden stars
Bloom over her last bed
I know she'll meet us soon
But for now we're stuck here
Just crying in your room
